We are ready for an exciting and competitive Bayou Regional!  In support of the 2009 Bayou,
Stennis Space Center is proud to announce a grant offer to Mississippi and Louisiana FIRST Robotics Teams.  The
offer is as follows:

Any Mississippi or Louisiana FIRST Robotics Team who competes in the Bayou Regional competition in New Orleans on March 19-21, 2009
is eligible for NASA funding if it wins any of the following awards:

Bayou Regional 2008 Engineering Inspiration Award     $4000 NASA Grant

Bayou Regional 2008 Woody Flowers Award                $2000 NASA Grant

Rules:

1)   Only Mississippi and Louisiana teams are eligible.

2)   Teams must submit, as requested, a budget, summary paperwork, and comply with all applicable government requirements.

3)    The anticipated funds will not arrive in time to be used for the 2009 Championship event in April.

4)   If a team wins multiple awards, they will be eligible for funding for multiple awards.

I will be contacting any team who qualifies for a grant the week after the Regional.
